Efficiency

Sometimes, your generator seems to be running fine but it’s using more fuel than it used to. This can be a sign that it isn’t as efficient as it could be which may mean it’s time to consider a new one.

Reliability

Is your generator slow to kick on during an outage? Is it not automatic or seamless anymore? This could be something that needs repaired or it could be time for a new system. Also, is your power supply consistent and steady while your generator is running? If so, you are all good. If not, and you have brownouts, you could need repairs – or a new system.

Frequent repairs

If you are experiencing any of the above, or if you have had to have your generator serviced more than once or twice a year, it’s probably time to consider a new system.
